This is a part time position.
Regular hours will be from approximately 1:
00 or 3:
00 to 5:
30 but person should be flexible and available to cover morning shifts as well.
EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CHILDREN IS REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
- Primary duties include cleaning all throughout the day and assisting lead teachers - Float between classrooms where needed - Help prepare meals for children - Assist the lead teachers - Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism - Assist with behavior management strategies and techniques - Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a safe and engaging learning environment - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members - Help supervise students during various activities and transitions
Experience:
- Working with children of all ages is a must.
- Previous experience working in a classroom setting, preferably in early childhood education or special education would be helpful - Familiarity with behavior management strategies and techniques - Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues Note:
