Newberry is seeking an Oracle Database Specialist with an active Top Secret Clearance. This position will begin immediately and end on or about December 31, 2014.
This position is responsible for the development and design of database strategies, system monitoring and improving database performance and capacity, and plan for future expansion. Plan, co-ordinate and implement database architecture, security measures to safeguard the database and data. Install, upgrade and tune the database server and application tools. Label data in compliance with cybersecurity labeling specifications (DOD, ICISM). Allocate system storage and plan future storage requirements. Modify the database structure, as necessary to support applications. Enroll users and maintain system security, apply DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and comply with system authorization/C Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)
Experience with Database config, scripts, database performance optimization, metrics, monitoring, reporting
Experience with IAVA, security checklists
Experience with database design and development including modeling tools such as ERWin. Familiar with data structures, data structure within a DBMS, methods for defining data relationships.
5 years professional experience with a Bachelor''s Degree in a technical related field.
Secret Clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
Desired Skills:
Ability to design, code, test and deploy new database configurations.
Experience developing and updating stored procedures.
DoD 8570 Certification
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
Certifications: Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional, MCSA SQL Server 2012, MCITP

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
