Responsibilities:
The Senior Engineer's work will include the development of new code and the maintenance of existing code. Software development will include designing, coding, unit testing, integration testing, and documentation of source code. Develop and implement advanced algorithms used in real-time systems.

Travel Required: 25%

Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience with real-time software development and open system architecture.
Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), UML, and MS Windows / Linux environment. Experience with VxWorks desired.
Experience with Object Management Group / Data Distribution Service (OMG/DDS) Standards for Real-Time Systems.
Hands on experience using C and C++. Experience with Ada a plus.
Previous experience with ClearCase, ClearQuest, and DOORS (or other Requirements Management system) desired.
Advanced expertise with MS Office suite required.
Previous experience with U.S. Navy combat systems desired.
Previous experience with deriving system / software requirements desired.
Must be familiar with sound software engineering methodologies such as RUP, Agile and CMMI.
Must demonstrate a general commitment to excellence, a dedication to producing quality work results, and an ability to learn and apply new skills
Must be energetic, motivated, and a self-starter
Must be highly organized and posses excellent communication skills
US Citizenship with ability to acquire US Secret-level clearance required
Model Driven Engineering desirable
Agile / Scrum Master desirable
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
