SECU offers our members greater convenience and a higher level of engaging service within Teller Services with the use of Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). ITMs are conveniently located in our financial centers while the Teller Services Representative interactively engages with and services members from our Video Teller Center located in Linthicum, Maryland.

From the Video Teller Center, Teller Services Representatives take control of members‚ transactions and deliver the vast majority of transaction services members currently use. A key difference from the traditional teller role: no burdensome task of counting incoming or outgoing cash or adding and scanning checks at the end of the day. This allows for more time to build stronger connections with members to better personalize the experience.

Responsibilities:

As the "face" and "personal connection" to the members we serve, you must be dynamic with a passion for and commitment to exceptional service and exceeding expectations - every member, every time.   • Engage with our members to ensure a memorable, welcoming experience at all times.
  • Build and deepens member loyalty by educating members on the best solution(s) to their financial well-being.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently to help members manage their finances.
  • Work as one to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:
What We‚ re Looking For.
  • 6 months+ experience delivering a consistent, positive service experience.
  • Preference for previous experience in a call center environment or a financial institution, preferably within Retail Banking, with 6 months+ cash handling experience ($2,500+).
  • Basic keyboarding/data entry skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a careful attention to detail.
  • Proven problem solving skills and complete comfort in a consultative sales and service environment.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends ‚ the Center is open Monday ‚ Friday 8:00 am ‚ 6:00 pm and Saturday 8:30 am ‚ 2:00 pm.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
