Responsibilities:

â ˘Determine market opportunities with existing or new deposit products; present innovative and creative solutions
â ˘Understand SECUâ s field of membership, demographics of current membership as well as member prospects, and market segments targeted by SECU; develop products and services to support and attract those segments
â ˘Be an expert with respect to the competition, both financial and non-financial. Review product data to ensure the appropriate employees are kept up to date on new developments
â ˘Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan.
â ˘Be accountable for creating and sustaining value for our members with the deposit products.
â ˘Set targets and goals for all deposit products; share results with stakeholders in a thorough and timely manner
â ˘Use data analytics and market information to maximize product performance and contribution to organizational goals; adjust strategies and tactics accordingly; recommend pricing changes
â ˘Understand how the performance of SECUâ s products and services compare against our partners, our peers, and our competition
â ˘Optimizes marketing initiatives across all existing and prospect touch-points, including direct mail, digital, mobile, call center, statements and branch channels.
â ˘Lead the development, approval, and communication of new or updated products, and their associated member, operational, system and process impacts to the various internal organizations
â ˘Identify the business and operational requirements based on business requirements and objectives of each product; develop and deliver formal project charters, business cases and business requirements documents
â ˘Focus on the member experience delivered by the products
â ˘Be involved with testing from a member perspective
â ˘When appropriate, run beta and pilot programs with early stage products, services and programs
â ˘Identify, monitor and measure risks for each product and service to manage financial performance and business impact
â ˘Work with cross-functional teams as appropriate to provide ongoing product information and support, and to promote products/services.
â ˘Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats regarding products, services, processes, etc. that impact member experience, product profitability, implementation, adoption and servicing.
â ˘Thoroughly understand products and services offered by our CU partners, their strategies, markets, goals, etc. Work collaboratively to optimize leverage of reporting and data analytics.
â ˘Negotiate contracts
â ˘Work with external parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
â ˘Develop and manage annual forecasts and operational budgets
â ˘Understand and help manage annual budgets (evaluating variances and contributing to projections)
â ˘Identify and implement opportunities to reduce operating expenses while enhancing the member experience and the integrity of processes
â ˘Recommend pricing, including fees, within policy guidelines to meet profitability and revenue goals

Qualifications:

â ˘Work experience in financial services or related industry, with product and project management experience.
â ˘Experience: 5+ years
Strong analytical skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents. Ability to efficiently and effectively deal with equations, graphs, etc; as well as a variety of concrete and abstract variables. High degree of proficiency utilizing all Microsoft Office products.
â ˘Strong organizational skills. Can easily conceptualize an efficient process to accomplish required tasks. Is skilled at documenting required actions steps and follows-up to ensure completion of required tasks.
â ˘Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Works well with others. Communicates and presents effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing. Earns the respect of coworkers.
â ˘Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority; demonstrated leadership skills.
â ˘Thorough understanding of SECUâ s market and market segments
â ˘Creative and forward thinking; solutions-driven
â ˘Motivated, demonstrated sense of urgency
â ˘Strong knowledge of business, with ability to see â the big pictureâ
â ˘Ability to understand the technology involved in creating and managing products and services, as well as the impact on business units

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
