Supervisory HR Specialist

As Supervisory Human Resources Specialist you will serve as the technical expert and supervisor for HR employees. The incumbent will participates in all phases of the Human Resources Management program. Serves as VISN 5 Human Resources expert/representative at internal and external meetings. Completes supervisory and non-supervisory assignments and ad hoc projects on behalf of the VISN. Provides managers and employees with information and interpretations of the organization's HR policies, procedures and guidelines, when the issues addressed require substantial interpretation, there is potential for controversy or the issue involves more than one area of HR policy. Seeks ways to reduce processing timelines for HR processes. Provides and ensures effective customer service for all VISN 5 customers consisting of employees, applicants, and veterans operating procedures to be used by HR and their family members. Develops standard operating procedures to be used by HR staff, Administrative Officers/Business Managers and other VISN 5 staff. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For GS-13 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-12. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-12 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
recruitment and placement; classification; training and development; performance management; employee benefits; Office of Workers Compensation, compensation; payroll; process and records, credentialing, and personnel security. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
