Program Analyst

As a Program Analyst you will be responsible for the following duties:
Executes role as a Security Certifications Program Manager, performing functions and overseeing processes for assigned certifications, to include maintaining integrated master schedule, monitoring cost, schedule, and performance. Conducts analyses, identifies problems, proposes solutions, and take actions. Executes, monitors, and maintains assigned certifications and credentials. Prepares Program Management Reviews (PMR) and briefs leadership and co-workers. Conducts analyses, identifies problems, proposes solutions and take actions. Executes, monitors, and maintains assigned certifications. Prepares PMRs and briefs leadership and co-workers. Leads project meetings and working groups with internal and external customers to collaborate and identify actionable solutions. Leads integrated process teams including internal DCSA and external DoD Component and Federal Agencies as required. Identifies and disseminates security-related products to a DoD-wide customer base. Promotes use of educational modules and information and service enhancements to standardized security briefings. Conducts ad-hoc security certification and commercial testing program presentations. Promotes networking among security professionals. Assists in determination of the availability of existing products to meet specific security certification training or awareness objectives. Further, assists in the development of new certification and career support products and resources to meet organizational or situational needs. Disseminates information about product sources and the availability of new materials to support certification programs. Reviews publications from outside sources and analyses and integrates information for use by components, agencies, and contractors. Assists in coordination and critical reviews of tools and products regarding security certifications, commercial testing platform, and other related programs. Leads cooperative efforts with and among DoD, intelligence, and federal agencies in the development of assessments, products, and publications. Assists in conference and workshop planning and briefings at various locations to security professional and other specialized groups. Maintains expert knowledge of multi-disciplinary security programs to include general, industrial, information, personnel, insider threat, anti-terrorism, and physical security. Maintains expert knowledge of program management processes, tools, and techniques. Leads in the development of plans, objectives, policies, processes and procedures to implement and monitor the development and sustainment of security professional development programs, commercial testing, credential, and activities for communities of practice. These communities of practice included Federal security professionals, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency security personnel, DoD and Federal personnel adjudicators, and security professionals within private industry. Specialized experience required for this position is:
Managing Certification and Credentialing programs; Monitoring cost, schedule and performance; Proposing solutions and taking actions; Leading programs, projects, preparing briefs in order to maintain and support the operational readiness of security programs and assigned certification and credential programs; Knowledge in critical thinking, communications, teamwork and interpersonal skills. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
