Vehicle Description 1970 CHEVY EL CAMINO We just acquired this really nice 1970 El Camino SS tribute from a local car guy and collector who told us it was time to start thinning out the herd He said that this Elky was a lot of fun and a blast to drive and really hated to see it go but instead of it just sitting he wanted someone to enjoy it as much as he did.
Nice guy ! Anyway, we were told that it been recently restored with new paint and interior as well as most of it's mechanicals had been gone thru all we know for sure is that it is really nice everywhere you look.
The body is mostly original and very straight, solid and clean including the floors,bed and frame.
It was painted in 2 stage (base/clear) in VIPER RED and i must say it looks spectacular ! Slick and smooth with a deep luster and show car shine.
It has all new chrome, trim, weather stripping too.
The black bucket seat interior was very tastefully done using custom high back bucket seats, a factory original console and correct staple shifter and a custom gauge cluster.
The carpets, door panels and headliner all look new too.
Power comes from a strong running, healthy sounding 350 c.

It is backed up by a TH-400 automatic transmission and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear.
Other features include power steering, power disc brakes (front only) tubular upper and lower control arms, headers with flow master dual exhaust, 15 rally wheels and lots more.
This El Camino truly runs and drives just as nice as it looks.
No disappointments.
