Vehicle Description 1978 MGB ROADSTER 61,000 ACTUAL MILES This MGB was just purchased from a local and longtime owner who told us that he was downsizing his life.
He told us that he really didn't drive it much anymore but had a lot of fond memories cruising around town with the top down.
He said that this car was nothing but a pleasure to own and will be missed but it was time to go.
This guy is the type of car enthusiasts that is more concerned with the safety and mechanical portions of the car and not so much on how it looks although this car still looks pretty good for a 44-year-old, all original car.
The body is completely original and solid as a rock including the floors, trunk and frame and the VERMILLION RED paint still shines but is original and a little tired.
The black convertible top is also original.
It functions properly but is in poor condition.
It was left down way too long and has small tears along the edges of the rear plastic window.
The bucket seat interior is also all original and in fair condition.
It does have MG fitted seat covers which do look really good.
The car really runs and drives very well.

8 liter 4-cylinder engine runs smooth and strong and is very quiet and the 4-speed transmission shifts perfect.
It appears the brakes and exhaust have recently serviced and or replaced as well as the radial tires look new.
