Vehicle Description 1969 PLYMOUTH ROADRUNNER BEEP-BEEP NOTE THIS CAR IS IN OUR DETAIL SHOP BEING PREPPED FOR SALE.
WE WILL POST PICTURES AND VIDEO AS SOON AS IT'S COMPLETED.
THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE!! We just acquired this gorgeous, award winning (1st place @ Chryslers at Carlisle 2015) RM21 Post Coupe Road Runner from a longtime owner and builder who very reluctantly decided to sell us his pride and joy.
We actually went to look at a different Road Runner he had for sale but ended up making a deal on this one instead.
He really had no intentions of selling this car but we made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
Honestly, I had to have this car and so will you! CHECK IT OUT !! We were told that this car was originally purchased several years ago as an uncompleted Frame-off restoration.
It had been stripped to a bare shell with all metal and bodywork completed.
It was also painted and rolling but needed to be powered and re-assembled so after thousands of dollars and hundreds of man hours it was completed in 2010.
It had been sparingly used and lovingly maintained and stored in a climate controlled facility throughout the years and has held up to look as good as it did the day it was completed.
The body is super straight, super solid and extremely clean including the floors, trunk and frame and it was beautifully painted in correct 1969 B5 Blue Fire Poly in 2 stage base/clear.
It honestly looks amazing especially with its blacked out hood.
We just compounded, polished and ceramic coated it to a deep luster and brilliant show car shine! It also has all new chrome, trim, weatherstripping and some of the glass was replaced new too.
The black bench seat interior was completely replaced including the seats, carpets, door panels and headliner and it all looks like it just rolled off the show room floor.
It also has the optional in-dash tach and gauges and a factory wood steering wheel too.
It is all very-very nice! Power comes a 1969 440c.
i.
engine that we were told had been rebuilt by a local and reputable machine shop.
All we know for sure is that this engine runs really good and sounds awesome.
You can hear its lumpy cam at idle and it pulls real hard when you stomp on the throttle.
It does have some nice performance upgrades and add-ons too like an Edelbrock aluminum Hi-rise intake with a Holley 750 DP/DF carburetor, TTI ceramic coated headers and Magna-Flow dual exhaust with H-pipe and a MSD igintio.
