TRIBUTE COMING SOON! We just acquired a 1968 Camaro from a guy who threw in the towel on a nut & bolt frame-off restoration that he has been building since 2019.
He got pretty far too but Covid19 hit and he got laid off his job so the project came to a screeching halt and the car had to be sold.
Another victim of this horrid virus.
AnywayCheck it out !! He told us that he stripped the car to a bare shell and had the body media blasted clean.
Both 1/4's and the trunk needed to be replaced but beyond that everything else was solid and clean.
The body was reassembled and fitted to perfection and professionally painted with PPG base/clear in Cortez Silver and no stripes.
Then he began to reassemble the car by installing a rebuilt 12 bolt rear, all new steering & suspension, new power disc brakes and lines and a new fuel tank and lines.
Then he installed a recently rebuilt 512 427 c.

big block engine that is backed by a Muncie 4 speed transmission with Hurst shifter and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:
73 gears.
This is how we bought the car.
Needing to be plumbed, wired, fired and finished.
It did come with almost everything to complete the build like a brand new standard black bucket seat interior including carpet, headliner, door panels, instrument cluster & dash pad and all new chrome, trim, weather stripping & glass too.
We put a few of our own touches on things and decided to go with that stripped C.

We added functional cowl induction and painted steel wheels with factory GM dog dish (poverty) center caps and redline tires.
VERY COOL !! This car is really turning out VERY, VERY NICE !! LOOK FOR IT SOON !!.
