Vehicle Description 1969 CAMARO SS396 NOTES THIS CAR IS IN OUR DETAIL SHOP BEING PREPPED FOR SALE.
THESE IMAGES ARE ALL I HAVE FOR NOW.
AS SOON AS IT IS DONE WE WILL POST MORE PICS AND VIDEO.
THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE !! We just got in this really nice 1969 SS-396 Camaro from a buddy of ours who got it from a longtime (1982) owner.
He told us that this guy FRAME-OFF restored and rebuilt this car a few years ago back to original and as he initially bought it back in 1982.
This is a no X code early car and it is not numbers matching so no real way to tell for sure if its a real Big Block Super Sport Camaro but by the looks of things it very well could be.
CHECK IT OUT ! The body is straight, solid and clean including the floors, trunk and frame.
It looks like there are a few new body panels but it appears that they were professionally installed and done right.
It was painted in Dupont base/clear in correct code 57 Fathom Green.
The paint is slick and smooth with a deep luster and show car shine.
All the chrome, trim and weather stripping has been replaced new and looks great.
The black standard bucket seat with factory console interior was also replaced new and is really, really nice! It has the console gauge package and correct in-dash tach and a center clock and everything works as it should too.
Powered by a 1969 396c.
i.
big block engine that runs smooth and strong.
It is backed by a smooth shifting Muncie 4 speed transmission with correct Hurst shifter and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:
55 gears.
Other features include, power steering, power disc brakes (front only) front and rear sway bars, correct chambered dual exhaust, 17 US MAG CHROME RAMBLER wheels and lots more! This is a very well done Camaro that runs and drives as nice as it looks.
NO DISAPPOINTMENTS ! DON'T MISS IT !.
