Vehicle Description 1970 CHEVELLE SS454 We just acquired this 1970 Chevelle SS as our next project.
Even though we are extremely busy and backed up building cars right now, this car had to be bought.
You just don't pass up a 1970 Chevelle SS that's all there and not a rust bucket especially when it runs & drives as nice as this car does.
We figured that instead of just sitting on this project until our other projects get done, we would offer it to you for sale AS-IS CHECK IT OUT !! This car was bought out of a divorce sale.
It had been sitting in a garage for a few years until things got settled.
We had to do a few mechanical repairs to get it going but now she runs and drives impressively well.
In our minds this is a quick & easy restoration but i guess it's all in what you want.
The Cranberry Red paint is old and stale.
It is cracked and checked up pretty much everywhere you look but the body is rock solid with minimal rust including the floors, trunk & frame.
The only rust we found is a few small bubbles on the lower right door.
It does look like it had the right 1/4 replaced at some point but it appears to have been professionally installed.
The black bucket seat with factory console interior is in near perfect condition including the seats, door panels, carpet and headliner, even the SS dash is all there and the gauges function as they should.
