Vehicle Description 1970 CHEVELLE SS396 We just got in a really nice 1970 Chevelle that we believe is a real deal Super Sport car but as you all well know without a numbers matching engine or build sheet there is no way to be sure so.
with that being said take it for what it's worth if it even matters anymore.
Anyway.
This car is in our shop being detailed and stepped up to our high level and standards.
This car has a really nice platform to begin with including a super nice, straight, solid and clean body, floors, trunk and frame that is mostly original and a beautiful Tuxedo Black with white stripes paint in 2 stage base/clear that is slick and smooth.
We plan to cut and buff it out to a show car shine.
The chrome, trim, weather stripping and glass are all in like new condition.
The black bucket seat interior that is in beautiful condition too.
It has the original center console and shifter and in-dash tach and gauges.
It is very-very nice !! The engine is a period correct 396 c.

It is backed up by a crisp shifting TH-400 automatic transmission and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear.
Other features include functional cowl induction, power steering, power disc brakes, F41 performance suspension, big tube headers, new dual exhaust with correct cow bell exhaust tips, new 15 SS 5 spoke wheels and B.
