Vehicle Description 1970 CHEVELLE SS396 NUMBERS MATCHING We just acquired this beautiful numbers matching 1970 Chevelle SS396 from the son of one of my best buddies.
He is a Capt.
in the Marines who travels all over the world representing the U.
S.
Wrestling Team.
He has owned this car for quite sometime but unfortunately it just sits in his garage most of the time so after a lot of soul searching he reluctantly decided to sell.
CHECK IT OUT !! This car has always been garaged, maintained and loved and it shows.
It had been recently restored prior to him purchasing the car in 2003 and is still absolutely gorgeous.
Dad taught him right ! The body is very straight, solid and clean including the floors, trunk and frame.
It has been repainted in original to the car code 75 Cranberry Red in base/clear and we just cut and buffed the car to a slick and smooth deep luster and show car shine.
The black bench seat interior is in like new condition as well including the seats, carpets, door panels, headliner and dash.

L-34 big block engine that runs smooth and strong.
It does have headers and Flow Master exhaust, an aluminum intake and Holley carb but that's about the extent of it's aftermarket upgrades.
The rest of the car is and sounds stock.
It is backed by a TH-400 automatic transmission that shifts crisp and firm and a 12 bolt rear with 3:
36 gears.
I have not had the opportunity to check to see if they are also original to the car so stay tuned for that.
Other features include power steering, power disc brakes (front only) AM-FM radio and 15x8 SS wheels w/ B.
